Aya Kakeda is a Japanese fine artist/illustrator.  She now draws and creates imaginative world from her studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. 
She started expanding her medium to ceramic in 2013.  Since then she has been making one of a kind unique sculptures and small design objects. She gets inspirations from folk-tales and crafts from around the world.  She hopes her little creatures will find special home and make their new friends smile.
